The concept of a 0-distributive poset is introduced. It is shown that a section semicomplemented poset is distributive if and only if it is 0-distributive. It is also proved that every pseudocomplemented poset is 0-distributive. Further, 0-distributive posets are characterized in terms of their ideal lattices.

In this paper we have studied the concept of Anti fuzzy ideals in Left Almost Semigroups (LA-semigroup in short). The equivalent statement for an LA-semigroup to be a commutative semigroup is proved. The set of all anti fuzzy left ideals, which are idempotents, forms a commutative monoid. Moreover it has been shown that the union of any family of Anti fuzzy left ideals of an LA-semigroup is an ...

In this section we will give an (extremely) brief Introduction to the concept of interior point methods • Logarithmic Barrier Method • Method of Centers We have previously seen methods that follow a path On the boundary of the feasible region (Simplex). As the name suggest, interior point methods instead Follow a path through the interior of the feasible region.

A scheme originally proposed by G. Wei [Physica A 222, 152 (1995); Physica A 222, 155 (1995)] is redesigned to produce numerical shape parameters of arbitrary tree-branched polymers based on the Kirchhoff matrix eigenvalue spectrum. This method and two different Monte Carlo techniques (pivot and growth) are employed to investigate the asphericity of three and four junction comb polymers in both...

An important predictor of historical sound change, functional load, fails to capture insights from speech perception. Building on ideal observer models of word recognition, we devise a new definition of functional load that incorporates both a priori expectedness and perceptual information. We explore this new measure with a simple model and find that it outperforms tra-

Objective: identify the compliance of health care product processing in Primary Health Care and assess possible differences in the compliance among the services characterized as Primary Health Care Service and Family Health Service. Method: quantitative, observational, descriptive and inferential study with the application of structure, process and outcome indicators of the health care produc...

In this paper, we articulate a meshless computational paradigm for the effective modeling, accurate physical simulation, and real-time animation of point-sampled solid objects. Both the interior and the boundary geometry of our volumetric object representation only consist of points, further extending the powerful and popular method of point-sampled surfaces to the volumetric setting. We build ...

Let M be the interior of a compact 3–manifold with non–empty boundary, and T be an ideal (topological) triangulation of M . This paper describes necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of angle structures, semi–angle structures and generalised angle structures on (M ; T ) respectively in terms of a generalised Euler characteristic function on the solution space of normal surface t...

Transaction costs can make it unprofitable to rebalance all the way to the ideal portfolio. A single-period analysis using mean-variance theory provides many interesting insights. With fixed or variable costs, there is a non-trading region within which trading does not pay. With only variable costs, any trading is to the boundary of the non-trading region, while fixed costs induce trading to th...

We assign two parameters to an M-ideal J in a Ba-nach space X, called the lower and upper grade, which are deened in terms of the size of balls contained in the set of best approximants from J. These quantities serve to measure how far J resembles an M-summand, and they enter into geometric descriptions in various ways. For instance they allow estimates of the interior of the metric complement ...
