第6期編集委員会（2023年4月～）において，はじめて，「マネージングエディター」職が新しく設置された。これに伴って，これから毎年，第1号において，「アニュアルレポート」を掲載していくことにしたい。2022年度（2022年4月～2023年3月）に『マーケティングジャーナル』に掲載された論文数は，特集論文18本，レビュー論文9本，投稿査読論文2本，マーケティングケース6本，書評8本で，巻頭言および編集後記を除く掲載数の合計は43本であった。投稿査読論文の投稿数は15本であり，それゆえ，採択率は13.3％であった。特記事項として，研究データリポジトリでの論文付随データの公開，および，DOAJ（Directory of Open Access Journals：オープンアクセス学術誌要覧）への収載が開始された。
