For an optimal elliptic curve E over Fq(t) of conductor p·∞, where p is prime, we show that E(F )tor is generated by the image of the cuspidal divisor group.

Overhead transmission lines are influenced by different factors which are mostly electrical and mechanical. These factors can cause problems for lines, distortions in network and outage of line. In designing transmission lines mechanical properties are evaluated after selecting a suitable conductor and clearance with regard to electrical properties. In lines designing, an important mechanical p...

Abstract In this paper, an oxygen sensor with La 2 MoWO 9 as the base material and 0.6 Sr 0.4 Fe 0.8 Co 0.2 O 3 mixed conductor diffusion barrier layer was made by solid state synthesis method. The has characteristics of low price, working temperature, simple preparation process, a good application prospect. However, there is also problem poor stability, which needs to be further studied.

In this paper we present the impact of hot wire geometry and fluid characteristics on the efficiency of a hot wire to be used as a wall shear stress sensor. Finite differences and finite elements modelling based simulators were used in order to evaluate the thermal performances of hot wire wall shear stress sensor. Several structures were explored including simple conductor or suspended above a...

Highly stretchable and electrically conductive thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) nanofibrous composite based on electrospinning for flexible strain sensor and stretchable conductor has been fabricated via in situ polymerization of polyaniline (PANI) on TPU nanofibrous membrane. The PANI/TPU membrane-based sensor could detect a strain from 0 to 160% with fast response and excellent stability. Mea...

A single charge screening model of surface charge sensors in liquids (De Vico et al., Nanoscale, 2011, 3, 706-717) is extended to multiple charges to model the effect of the charge distributions of analyte proteins on FET sensor response. With this model we show that counter-intuitive signal changes (e.g. a positive signal change due to a net positive protein binding to a p-type conductor) can ...

− A Rogowski coil is well-known current-to-voltage transducer, and in order to use it for the high-accuracy measurement of AC current (at power supply frequency) all influencing quantities and their contribution should be recognized and analyzed. Therefore, in this paper the analysis of the partial influence due to the position of the primary conductor relatively to the secondary coil, with the...

This paper presents a new approach for realizing a smart, fault tolerant, controllable and asset efficient power grid through the use of massively-dispersed mass-manufactured communicationsenabled sensor, power-converter and actuator networks. One example is ‘Smart Wires’, implemented using many modules of a Distributed Static Series Compensator (DSSC) device that can be clamped on to existing ...

SnO2 is widely used as a transparent conductor and sensor material. Better understanding and control of its conductivity would enhance its performance in existing applications and enable new ones, such as in light emitters. Using density functional theory, we show that the conventional attribution of n-type conductivity to intrinsic point defects is incorrect. Unintentional incorporation of hyd...

In this paper a polarimetric fibre-optics current sensor in a new highly versatile all-fibre configuration is described. The optical configuration is particularly simple and is based on a back-and-forth propagation through a twisted sensing fibre. This results in a very flexible sensing cable which can be adapted to a great number of existing power installations, by simply winding the fibre aro...
