非圧密非排水(UU)三軸圧縮試験(以下,UU 三軸圧縮試験)や土の繰り返し非排水三軸圧縮試験(以下,液状化強度試験)は,各種サンプラーで採取した土質試料から必要な供試体数を作製する。これらの供試体は,異なる深度で作製されるが均質性があると見做される(以下,現行法)。しかし,著者らは,この見做し事項が供試体の不均質性に繋がり,試験結果に影響を与えると考えた。また,これらの試験結果が設計で採用されないことが多くある。そこで,供試体の不均質性を改善するため口径を拡大した三重管サンプラーによる土質試料から,同一深度の供試体を用いた土質試験を提案する(以下,提案法)。実証実験として,現行法と提案法の盛土のUU 三軸圧縮試験の比較,提案法の沖積砂質土および盛土の砂質土の液状化強度試験を実施した。これらの結果から,提案法は現行法を改善できることが確認できたので報告する。
