Antibody response against nucleocapsid and spike proteins of SARS-CoV-2 in 11 persons with mild or asymptomatic infection rapidly increased after infection. At weeks 18-30 diagnosis, all remained seropositive but protein-targeting antibody titers declined. These data may be useful for vaccine development.

The impending influenza virus pandemic requires global vaccination to prevent large-scale mortality and morbidity, but traditional influenza virus vaccine production is too slow for rapid responses. In this study, bacterial system has been developed for expression and purification of properly folded HA1 antigen as a rapid response to emerging pandemic strains. Here, a recombinant H5N1 (A/Indone...

background human immunodeficiency virus (hiv) infected patients are also frequently exposed to the hepatitis b virus (hbv), due to the common routes of transmission, therefore, prevention of hepatitis b results in decreased complications of the disease. objectives since the immune response of hiv patients to hepatitis b vaccination is less robust than that found in healthy individuals, this stu...

An experiment was conducted to study the effect of metabolizable energy (ME) and protein of Japanese quails diets on offspring performance and antibody production against sheep red blood cell (SRBC). A total of 432 Japanese quails (13 week-old) were divided into nine treatments. Each treatment comprised four replicates of twelve birds (9 female and 3 male). Nine diets including three levels of ...

We report here the rational design and optimization of an antibody-responsive, DNA-based device that enables communication between pairs otherwise non-interacting proteins. The is designed to recognize bind a specific antibody and, in response, undergo conformational change leads release DNA strand, termed “translator,” regulates activity downstream target protein. As proof principle, we demons...
