The title Pb(II) coordination polymer, [PbCl(2)(C(13)H(14)N(2))], was prepared by the hydro-thermal reaction of PbCl(2) with 4,4,-trimethyl-enedipyridine in a 1:1 ratio. It exhibits a two-dimensional layered structural motif consisting of PbCl(2) chains and the flexible bridged 4,4'-trimethyl-enedipyridine ligand.
