In the title complex, [Ni(C(6)H(7)N(2)S)(2)(CH(4)N(2)S)(2)], the central Ni atom (located on a centre of inversion) is six-coordinated by two monoanionic N,S-chelating 4,6-dimethyl-pyrimidine-2-thiol-ate ligands and two trans S-coordinating thio-urea groups.
