In this paper, we find a class of special inclusions that have the same property with respect to second order linear partial differential equations as holds for ellipsoids. That is, in the simplest case and in physical terms, constant magnetization of the inclusion implies constant magnetic field on the inclusion. The special inclusions are found as solutions of a simple variational inequality....

Variational inequality methods whether based on numerous available new algorithms or otherwise have been applied vigorously, especially to model equilibria problems in economics, optimization and control theory, operations research, transportation network modeling, and mathematical programming, while a considerable progress to developing general methods for the sensitivity analysis for variatio...

For a general category of variational inclusions in finite dimensions, a class of parameterizations, called " ample " parameterizations, is identified that is rich enough to provide a full theory of Lipschitz-type properties of solution mappings without the need for resorting to the auxiliary introduction of canonical parameters. Ample parameterizations also support a detailed description of th...

The paper is devoted to optimization problems of the Bolza and Mayer types for evolution systems governed by nonconvex Lipschitzian differential inclusions in Banach spaces under endpoint constraints described by finitely many equalities and inequalities. with generally nonsmooth functions. We develop a variational analysis of such problems mainly based on their discrete approximations and the ...

It’s shown that a number of variational problems can be cast as finding the maxinf-points (or minsup-points) of bivariate functions, coveniently abbreviated to bifunctions. These variational problems include: linear and nonlinear complementarity problems, fixed points, variational inequalities, inclusions, non-cooperative games, Walras and Nash equilibrium problems. One can then appeal to the t...

We introduce and study a new system of nonlinear variational-like inclusions involving sG, η maximal monotone operators, strongly monotone operators, η-strongly monotone operators, relaxed monotone operators, cocoercive operators, λ, ξ -relaxed cocoercive operators, ζ, φ, g-relaxed cocoercive operators and relaxed Lipschitz operators in Hilbert spaces. By using the resolvent operator technique ...

ABSTRACT In this paper, we studied the existence theorems and techniques for finding the solutions of a system of nonlinear set valued variational inclusions in Hilbert spaces. To overcome the difficulties, due to the presence of a proper convex lower semicontinuous function ϕ and a mapping g which appeared in the considered problems, we have used the resolvent operator technique to suggest an ...

In this paper, we introduce and study a mixed variational inclusion problem involving infinite family of fuzzy mappings. An iterative algorithm is constructed for solving a mixed variational inclusion problem involving infinite family of fuzzy mappings and the convergence of iterative sequences generated by the proposed algorithm is proved. Some illustrative examples are also given.
