we study interior operators and interior structures in a fuzzy setting.we investigate systems of “almost open” fuzzy sets and the relationshipsto fuzzy interior operators and fuzzy interior systems.

The concepts of fuzzy θ-open (θ-closed)sets and fuzzy θ-closure operator are introduced and discussed in intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces. As applications of these concepts, certain functions are characterized in terms of intuitionistic fuzzy θ-closure operator.

We introduce the concept of fuzzy r-minimal α-open set on a fuzzy minimal space and some basic properties. We also introduce the concepts of fuzzy r-M α-continuous and fuzzy r-M(M∗) α-open mappings, and investigate characterization for such mappings.

A new class of fuzzy closed sets, namely fuzzy weakly closed set in a fuzzy topological space is introduced and it is established that this class of fuzzy closed sets lies between fuzzy closed sets and fuzzy generalized closed sets. Alongwith the study of fundamental results of such closed sets, we define and characterize fuzzy weakly compact space and fuzzy weakly closed space.

We introduce the concepts of fuzzy (r, s)-regular open sets and fuzzy almost (r, s)-continuous mappings on the intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces in Šostak’s sense. Also we investigate the equivalent conditions of the fuzzy almost (r, s)-continuity.
