One of the great innovations of the modern world is the Smartphone app. The sheer multitude of available apps attests to their popularity and general ability to satisfy our wants and needs. The flip side of the functionality these apps offer is their potential for privacy invasion. Apps can, if granted permission, gather a vast amount of very personal and sensitive information. App developers m...
This paper focuses on the robust mixed H2/H∞ observer design problem for removal of NOx sensor ammonia cross-sensitivity in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems. Due to the ammonia cross-sensitivity, the reading of the NOx sensor is contaminated severely. In order to utilize the concentration of the NOx in the downstream tailpipe, it is desired to design an observer to estimate the actua...
in this paper we consider the mixed-sensitivity minimization problem (scalar case).lt gives rise to the so-called two-block problem on the algebra He; we analyze this problem from an operator point of view, using Krein space theory. We obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for the uniqueness of the solution and a parameterization of all solutions in the non-uniqueness case. Moreover, an i...
This paper considers the mixed sensitivity optimization problem for a class of infinite-dimensional stable plants. This problem is reducible to a twoor one-block H∞ control problem with structured weighting functions. We first show that these weighting functions violate the genericity assumptions of existing Hamiltonian-based solutions such as the well-known Zhou–Khargonekar formula. Then, we d...
This paper presents a multi-periodic, multi-echelon blood supply chain network consisting of blood donors, mobile collection units, local blood centers, main blood centers and demand points in which the local and main blood centers are subject to random failure in dispatching blood products to demand points. The problem has two objectives including minimization of the total chain costs and maxi...
In this article we investigate on robust mixed-sensitivity H∞ control for speed and torque control of inductional motor (IM). In order to simplify the design procedure the Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy approach is introduced to solve the nonlinear model Problem. Loop-shaping methodology and Mixed-sensitivity problem are developed to formulate frequency-domain specifications. Then a regional pole-pl...
in this paper the real-world occurrence of the multiple-product multiple-constraint single period newsboy problem with two objectives, in which there is incremental discounts on the purchasing prices, is investigated. the constraints are the warehouse capacity and the batch forms of the order placements. the first objective of this problem is to find the order quantities such that the expected ...
a modified method to determine a well-dispersed subset of non-dominated vectors of an momilp problem
this paper uses the l1−norm and the concept of the non-dominated vector, topropose a method to find a well-dispersed subset of non-dominated (wdsnd) vectorsof a multi-objective mixed integer linear programming (momilp) problem.the proposed method generalizes the proposed approach by tohidi and razavyan[tohidi g., s. razavyan (2014), determining a well-dispersed subset of non-dominatedvectors of...
In this paper, we introduce and study a mixed variational inclusion problem involving infinite family of fuzzy mappings. An iterative algorithm is constructed for solving a mixed variational inclusion problem involving infinite family of fuzzy mappings and the convergence of iterative sequences generated by the proposed algorithm is proved. Some illustrative examples are also given.
