nowadays, the use of intelligent control systems to reduce human error is one of the most popularresearch fields. design and implementation of such controllers requires to actual knowledge of theenvironment conditions. traffic lights as one of the inputs of intelligent control systems are significant.usually the traffic lights have the various physical structure. also, generally in image proces...

We are working towards computational models of mind of virtual characters that act as suspects in interview (interrogation) training of police officers. We implemented a model that calculates the responses of the virtual suspect based on theory and observation. We evaluated it by means of our test, the “Guess who you are talking to?” test. We show that this test can contribute to building respo...

Nowadays, effort estimation in software projects is turned to one of the key concerns for project managers. In fact, accurately estimating of essential effort to produce and improve a software product is effective in software projects success or fail, which is considered as a vital factor. Lack of access to satisfying accuracy and little flexibility in existing estimation models have attracted ...

This paper proposes an intelligent approach for dynamic identification of the vehicles. The proposed approach is based on the data-driven identification and uses a high-performance local model network (LMN) for estimation of the vehicle’s longitudinal velocity, lateral acceleration and yaw rate. The proposed LMN requires no pre-defined standard vehicle model and uses measurement data to identif...

In this paper, an almost new control approach called terminal synergetic control which works based on user defined manifold is applied to a nonlinear helicopter model. Stability analysis is convestigated using Lyapunov stability theory. Synergetic controller is applied to this nonlinear fifth-order helicopter model to control height and angle. Simulation results showed that it has faster and sm...

Introduction: The intensive care unit is one of the most costly parts of the national health sector. These costs are largely attributable to the length of stay in the intensive care unit. For this reason, there are significant benefits in predicting patients' length of stay and the percentage of deaths in intensive care units. Therefore, in this study, a fuzzy logic based intelligent system was...

The computational grounding problem – the gap between the mental models of an agent and its computational model – is a well known problem within the agent research community. For years, it has been believed that obscure ontological status is the principal cause. This acute problem hampers the speed of agent oriented development. In this work, we propose an alternative way for modelling intellig...

This paper presents a system to collect information through the cooperation of intelligent agent software, in addition to providing warnings after analysis to monitor and predict some possible error indications among controlled objects in the network. This technique derived from the ontology combining Ethereal and Cacti, which store the operating information of network management perfectly into...

nowadays, because of the growing numbers of vehicles on streets and roads, the use of intelligent controlsystems to improve driving safety and health has become a necessity. to design and implement suchcontrol systems, having information about traffic light colors is essential. there are the wide variety oftraffic lights in terms of light intensity and color. therefore it seems that design and ...

We study the use of model checking techniques for the generation of test sequences. Given a formal model of the system to be tested, one can formulate test purposes. A model checker then derives test sequences that fulfill these test purposes. The method is demonstrated by applying it to a specification of an Intelligent Network with two features.
