In this paper we give a construction of free 2-crossed modules. By the use of a `step-by-step' method based on the work of Andr e, we will give a description of crossed algebraic models for the steps in the construction of a free simplicial resolution of an algebra. We introduce an equivariant version of cyclic cohomology for Hopf module algebras. For any H-module algebra A, where H is a Hopf algebra with S2 = idH we define the cocyclic module C ♮ H(A) and we find its relation with cyclic cohomology of crossed product algebra A ⋊ H. We define K 0 (A), the equivariant K-theory group of A, and its pairing with cyclic and periodic cyclic cohomology of C H(A).
We give formulae for a module presentation of the module of identities among relations for a presentation of a group, in terms of information on 0and 1-combings of the Cayley graph. This is seen as a special case of extending a partial free crossed resolution of a group given a partial contracting homotopy of its universal cover.
