یهدف هذا البحث الى تسلیط الضوء على کتاب (النسبة المواضع والبلدان) للطیب بامخرمة الحمیری (ت:947هـ/1540م) بوصفه مصدراً لدراسة بلدان الموصل من مدن وقرى وغیرها، حیث التعریف بالمؤلف ونشاطه العلمی ومؤلفاته مع الترکیز وکل ذلک مما ورد فی الکتاب الذی جمع مضامینه بین کتب الأنساب وکتب البلدان، وهو نسب بلد، بضبط العبارة وترجمته وصف لهذا البلد.
