High ambient interstellar pressure is suggested as a possible factor to explain the ubiquitous observed growth-rate discrepancy for supernova-driven superbubbles and stellar wind bubbles. Molecular outflows associated with GL 2591 and W28 A2 were observed in the 492 GHz [C I] line. Upper limits are set on the [C I] emission in the extremely high velocity line wings. We report on a survey of NH2D towards protostellar cores in low–mass star formation and quiescent regions in the Galaxy.
