The complex [Cr(3,7diHF)3] ̈ 3H2O (3,7diHF is the monoanion of flavonoid 3,7-dihydroxyflavone) was synthetized and characterized by mass spectrometry, thermogravimetry, UV-Vis and FTIR spectroscopies. The data indicated that the coordination of the chromium(III) ion to the flavonoid increased its thermal stability.
A new zeotype titanium silicate oxidation catalyst with the STT topology has been synthesized from direct synthesis. Ti-STT has a microporous structure with small pore openings, allowing shape selective oxidation catalysis. Bowl-shaped corannulene provides various metal binding modes with its curved π-surfaces and rim. Herein, we report the syntheses of 2-pyridylcorannulene and its cyclopalladated complex.
