We define Boolean algebras over nominal sets with a functionsymbol Nmirroring the N‘fresh name’ quantifier. We also define dual notions of nominal topology and Stone space, prove a representation theorem over fields of nominal sets, and extend this to a Stone duality.
A piggyback duality and a translation process between this one and a Priestley duality for each subvariety of involutive Stone algebras and regular o-De Morgan algebras is presented. As a consequence we describe free algebras and the prime spectrum of each subvariety.
We prove that the category of left-handed skew distributive lattices with zero and proper homomorphisms is dually equivalent to a category of sheaves over local Priestley spaces. Our result thus provides a noncommutative version of classical Priestley duality for distributive lattices. The result also generalizes the recent development of Stone duality for skew Boolean algebras.
Rough relation algebras are a generalization of relation algebras such that the underlying lattice structure is a regular double Stone algebra. Standard models are algebras of rough relations. A discrete duality is a relationship between classes of algebras and classes of relational systems (frames). In this paper we prove a discrete duality for a class of rough relation algebras and a class of...

Utilising and expanding concepts from categorical topology and algebra, we contrive a moderately general theory of dualities between algebraic, point-free spaces and set-theoretical, point-set spaces, which encompasses infinitary Stone dualities, such as the well-known duality between frames (aka. locales) and topological spaces, and a duality between σ-complete Boolean algebras and measurable ...
In their more general form, our equations are of the form u → v, where u and v are profinite words. The first result not only subsumes Eilenberg-Reiterman’s theory of varieties and their subsequent extensions, but it shows for instance that any class of regular languages defined by a fragment of logic closed under conjunctions and disjunctions (first order, monadic second order, temporal, etc.)...
A pseudogroup is a complete infinitely distributive inverse monoid. Such inverse monoids bear the same relationship to classical pseudogroups of transformations as frames do to topological spaces. The goal of this paper is to develop the theory of pseudogroups motivated by applications to group theory, C∗-algebras and aperiodic tilings. Our starting point is an adjunction between a category of ...
