The paper investigates the possibility of modeling the highly nonlinear and very complex Sorensen model, [1], of Type 1 diabetic patients using the polytopic LPV modeling possibility. This paper investigates optimal signal predictive quantization in the presence of source model uncertainties. It uses polytopic system model to represent the uncertainties in source signal and uses the recent results on robust filtering [8] to obtain a robust H∞ optimal design of signal predictor. Polytopic multiplexing is a new method of overlapping holograms that, when combined with other multiplexing techniques, can increase the capacity of a volume holographic data storage system by more than a factor of 10. This is because the method makes possible the effective utilization of thick media. An experimental demonstration of this technique is also presented.
This paper investigates the stability problem of Markovian jump systems with multiple delay components and polytopic uncertainties. A new Lyapunov– Krasovskii functional is used for the stability analysis of Markovian jump systems with or without polytopic uncertainties. Two numerical examples are provided to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed approach.
