We give an almost complete classification of empty lattice simplices in dimension 4 using the conjectural results of Mori-Morrison-Morrison, later proved by Sankaran and Bober. In particular, all of these simplices correspond to cyclic quotient singularities, and all but finitely many of them have width bounded by 2.
Reliable transmission of digital data is essential in today’s society given its role in technological advances such as transmission of satellite images, wireless communications, and data storage/retrieval. The aim of channel coding is to allow transmission of information over a noisy channel in such a way that the receiver can recover the original information. To accomplish this, some level of ...
she returns to time and time again in her many interviews and articles. In her reflections on motherhood, both inside and outside her fiction, Morrison articulates a fully developed theory of African American mothering that is central to her larger political and philosophical stance on black womanhood. Building upon black women’s experiences of, and perspectives on motherhood, Morrison develops...
In this paper, we develop conditions under which the Sherman–Morrison–Woodbury formula can be represented in the Moore–Penrose inverse and the generalized Drazin inverse forms. These results generalize the original Sherman–Morrison–Woodbury formula. © 2011 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
We present some results on generalized inverses and their application to generalizations of the Sherman-Morrison-Woodbury-type formulae.

the concept of identity and its formation is one of the most basic notions in the field of social psychology. many psychologist and sociologists have presented their theories based on this concept and the psychosocial progress of its formation in social contexts. henry tajfel, a prominent social psychologist, in his social identity theory has divided an individual’s identity into two parts: “pe...
We reply here to the critique by Douglas Morrison [1] of our paper [2] which was recentlypublished in this Journal. Apart from his general classification of our experiments into stages 1-5, we find that the comments made [1] are either irrelevant or inaccurate or both. In the article "Comments on Claims of Excess Enthalpy by Fleishmann and Pons using simplecells made to Boil" Dougla...
