این مطالعه در سه محل از سواحل بندر لنگه در جنوب ایران، در سواحل شمالی خلیج فارس انجام شد . 119 گونه از جلبکهای جمع‌آوری و شناسایی شده منطقه که شامل 29 گونه جلبک سبز (2 گونه گزارش جدید)، 31 گونه جلبک قهوه‌ای (4 گونه گزارش جدید) و 59 گونه قرمز (2 گونه گزارش جدید) می‌باشد معرفی می‌گردد.
