In This paper, we generalize and obtain common fixed point theorems for a pair of mappings satisfying generalized multi-valued type contractive condition in the setting of cone metric spaces with normal constant 1.Our results generalize the recent results of varies authors.

Some common fixed point results satisfying a generalized weak contractive condition in the framework of convex metric spaces are derived. As applications, we also obtained some results on the set of best approximation for such class of mappings. The proved results generalize and extend various known results in the literature.

The object of this paper is to establish a theorem for a unique common fixed point of four self mappings, weakly compatibile in pairs and satisfying a generalized contractive condition in a cone metric space. Our result generalizes and synthesizes the results of Abbas– Jungck [1], Arshad et al. [2], Huang–Zhang [3] and Vetro [8].
