in this paper two different methods are presented to approximate the solution of the fractional black-scholes equation for valuation of barrier option. also, the two schemes need less computational work in comparison with the traditional methods. in this work, we propose a new generalization of the two-dimensional differential transform method and decomposition method that will extend the appli...

‎in this paper‎, ‎we provide sufficient conditions for the existence of nonnegative solutions of a boundary value problem for a fractional order differential equation‎. ‎by applying kranoselskii`s fixed--point theorem in a cone‎, ‎first we prove the existence of solutions of an auxiliary bvp formulated by truncating the response function‎. ‎then the arzela--ascoli theorem is used to take $c^1$ ...

in this paper, a new identification of the lagrange multipliers by means of the sumudu transform, is employed to  btain a quick and accurate solution to the fractional black-scholes equation with the initial condition for a european option pricing problem. undoubtedly this model is the most well known model for pricing financial derivatives. the fractional derivatives is described in caputo sen...

Abstract It is the purpose of this article to introduce a linear approximation technique for solving a fractional chance constrained programming (CC) problem. For this purpose, a fuzzy goal programming model of the equivalent deterministic form of the fractional chance constrained programming is provided and then the process of defuzzification and linearization of the problem is started. A sam...

This paper deals with the investigation of a closed form solution of a generalized fractional reaction-diffusion equation. The solution of the proposed problem is developed in a compact form in terms of the H-function by the application of direct and inverse Laplace and Fourier transforms. Fractional order moments and the asymptotic expansion of the solution are also obtained.

in this manuscript a new method is introduced for solving fractional differential equations. the fractional derivative is described in the caputo sense. the main idea is to use fractional-order legendre wavelets and operational matrix of fractional-order integration. first the fractional-order legendre wavelets (flws) are presented. then a family of piecewise functions is proposed, based on whi...

A hypothesis is presented that electronic and vibrational resonant energy states are important in biochemical reactions due to their coupling to hydrogen transfer reactions. The hypothesis is based upon (1) the involvement of hydrogen in most biochemical reactions, (2) the unique abiity of hydrogen to act as an energy trap for resonant energy and (3) demonstrations of the coupling of resonant e...

In this paper, we give the spectral theory for eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of a boundary value problem consisting of the linear fractional Bessel operator. Moreover, we show that this operator is self-adjoint, the eigenvalues of the problem are real, and the corresponding eigenfunctions are orthogonal. In this paper, we give the spectral theory for eigenvalues and eigenfunctions...

It may often be tempting to take a fractional diffusion equation and simply create a fractional reactiondiffusion equation by including an additional reaction term of the same form as one would include for a standard Fickian system. However, in real systems, fractional diffusion equations typically arise due to complexity and heterogeneity at some unresolved scales. Thus, while transport of a c...
