In this article an unusual case of aneurysmal bone cyst in the right temporal region with histopathologica...
Osteosarcoma is a classical malignant bone-forming neoplasm which usually presents with an aggressive clinical course. The current case is presented with the radiographic feature of widening of the periodontal ligament space of the involved teeth, which is considered to be the earliest radiographic manifestation of osteosarcoma involving the jaw bone. The main aim of this case report was to foc...
We report an instructive case of extraskeletal osteosarcoma in a 63-year-old African American male who presented after an episode of recent trauma, with clinical and radiological features characteristic of this neoplasm. Osteosarcoma is the most common primary malignant tumor of bone in young adults, but the extraskeletal variety is very uncommon. The radiological and pathological features of t...
Kaposi's sarcoma is a neoplasm of multifocal origin apparently derived from fibroblastic and vascular elements and predominantly involving the skin. In 10 to 20% of patients with the neoplasm, associated lesions may occur in the lymph nodes, gastrointestinal tract, liver, lungs, heart, bone, and spleen in order of decreasing frequency. Kaposi's sarcoma in a previously healthy person occurring i...
Osteosarcoma is the most frequent malignant bone neoplasm, followed by chondrosarcoma and Ewing sarcoma. The diagnosis of bone neoplasms is generally made through histological evaluation of a biopsy. Clinical and radiological features are also important in aiding diagnosis and to complete the staging of bone cancer. In addition to these, there are several non-specific serological or specific mo...

We report the case of a patient with primitive neuroectodermal tumor whose primary site was the axilla. The patient presented with metastases in the lung, pleura, bone, iliac muscle and bone marrow. We highlight the uncommon finding in the pleural flui...
We report an unusual case of primary intracranial germinoma involving the sphenoid bone and sinus. To the best of our knowledge, paranasal sinus and bone invasion of primary intracranial germinoma has not been previously reported. Recognition of this rare form of presentation by imaging is important because early radiation and chemotherapy can result in a cure of this neoplasm.
Acute lymphoblastic leukemia is the most common malignancy in children with a 5-year survival rate, accounting for 80% of cases. Melanoma is rare in children and has been reported as a sporadically occurring secondary malignant neoplasm in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This study presented a 10-year-old Iranian child with pre-B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia that was diagnosed ...
