The crystal structure of the title compound, C(7)H(8)NO(+)·HSO(4) (-), consists of O-H⋯Ohydrogen-bonded extended chains of hydrogen sulfate anions. Each hydrogen sulfate anion is furthermore connected to one 4-acetyl-pyridinium cation via a hydrogen bond of the N-H⋯O type.
In this research, we have developed cheap recyclable and task-specific acidic ionic liquids (AILs) 1-hydrogen-3-methylimidazolium hydrogen sulfate [Hmim]HSO4, 1-hydrogen-3-methylimidazolium chloride [Hmim]Cl, 2-pyrrolidonium hydrogensulfate [Hnhp]HSO4 and applied them in acid catalyzed synthesis of quinoxaline derivatives from 1,2-phenylendiamines and 1,2-dicarbonyl compounds. The products coul...
Microplastics (MPs) affect plankton (a basis of the trophic chain) and planktivorous fish can ingest them through food confusion or by transmission. Consensus to determine MPs in is lacking and, so, three digestion treatments were evaluated: Alkaline (potassium hydroxide) enzymatic (protease plus lipase) digestions, both combined with a hydrogen peroxide stage; an oxidative method using surfact...
The crystal structure of the title compound, C(6)H(6)NO(2) (+)·HSO(4) (-), is stabilized by inter-molecular N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
The crystal structure of the title salt, C(5)H(6)NO(+)·HSO(4) (-), consists of planar(r.m.s. deviation = 0.001 Å) 4-hydroxy-pyridinium cations and hydrogen sulfate anions which are hydrogen bonded into a layer motif. In the anion, the S-O bond [1.551 (2) Å] involving the O atom bearing the acid H atom is longer than the other three S-O bonds, which range from 1.437 (1) to 1.454 (1) Å.
Desulfovitio d&dfUTiCam is an obligately anaerobic organism that can bc grown heterotrophically with sulfate and an organic electron donor or autotrophically with sulfate, hydrogen, and CO* (1). The presence of sulfate is obligatory for growth both with hydrogen and organic electron donors, except in the case of pyruvate (2). During growth, large amounts of sulfide are produced from the sulfate...
The structure of title compound, C(6)H(6)NO(2) (+)·HSO(4) (-), comprises discrete ions which are inter-conected by N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, leading to a neutral one-dimensional network along [001]. These hydrogen bonds appear to complement the Coulombic inter-action and help to stabilize the structure further.
All non-H atoms of the cation of the title salt, C(6)H(5)N(2) (+)·HSO(4) (-), are essentially coplanar [r.m.s. deviation = 0.005 (1) Å] . In the crystal, N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and weak C-H⋯O and C-H⋯N inter-actions link the mol-ecules into a two-dimensional network parallel to the (001) plane. Weak π-π stacking inter-actions between the pyridine rings of neighbouring mol-ecules further...
In the title salt, C(7)H(8)N(3) (+)·HSO(4) (-), the benzimdazole ring system is planar [mean deviation 0.0086 (1) Å]. In the crystal, N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O hydrogen-bond inter-actions give rise to a layer motif.
