ナスの新たな仕立て法に関する基礎的な知見を得るため，ナスの2本仕立て栽培における育苗期の摘心処理が苗および定植後の生育に及ぼす影響を検討した．その結果，育苗期の摘心処理により育苗日数は慣行区に比べて長かった．本葉節摘心区が子葉節摘心区に比べて9～10日短かった．成苗率は本葉節摘心区が慣行区と同じ100 %，子葉節摘心区が慣行区および本葉節摘心区の70～80 %であった．本葉節摘心区では，主枝開花段数および一次側枝数は慣行区と同等であったものの，側枝乾物重，側枝着果数，可販果数，可販果収量ともに，慣行区と同等か有意に多かった．また，本葉節摘心区では，第1花までの葉数は慣行区に比べて有意に少なく，主茎長および草丈は栽培期間を通して慣行区に比べて有意に短かった．以上から，育苗期の摘心処理は，主茎長および草丈を抑制できる仕立て法の1つになると考えられ，摘心は主枝となる側枝の生育が揃い，子葉節...
