A facile precursor dependent single step, one pot solution based synthesis of wurtzite and chalcopyrite polymorphs of CuFeS2 has been developed by reacting a Cu(I) thiourea complex with Fe2(SO4)3 and FeCl3 separately in ethylene glycol. The phases have been characterized by structural refinements, SEM-EDX, TEM-SAED, Raman, UV-Visible spectroscopy and TGA measurements.

This study describes a novel method for improving the specific recognition, detection, and identification of proteins involved in multiprotein complexes. The method is based on a combination of coimmunoprecipitation, chemical cross-linking, and specific fluorescent tagging of protein components in close association with one another. Specific fluorescent tagging of the protein complex components...

In this study, inexpensive and eco-friendly production of the silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) was explored using Laminaria ochroleuca sodium alginate as stabilizing reducing agent. The synthesized were characterized by various analytical techniques such UV–Vis spectroscopy, Energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer (EDX), diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), TEM selected area (SAE...

Rare-earth-free permanent-magnets have gained immense focus in the view point of mitigating the critical-material aspects of rare-earth elements. The intermetallic compound Zr2Co11 is a promising candidate. Polymorphism exists in the Zr2Co11 compound; a high-temperature phase has a rhombohedral structure and a low temperature phase has an orthorhombic structure [1,2]. Both of the two phases in ...

Ni-C/Ti are suitable for the components of neutron supermirrors with high reflectivity because their excellent optical constant and smoother interfaces compared to Ni/Ti. In this paper, investigate mechanism C doping interface, crystallization, composition a multilayer variable Ni-C thickness, four multilayers were prepared by direct current magnetron sputtering, in which thickness layers was 1...

In this paper, we report the electrochemical fabrication of highly ordered Au nanowire arrays within hexagonal close-packed nanochannel alumina (NCA) templates with pore diameters ranging from 35 nm to 100 nm. The observations of TEM, SAED, and HRTEM show that single crystal Au nanowires have been obtained within the templates with 45 nm diameters. The growth mechanism of the single crystal Au ...

Single-crystalline TiOF(2) crystals with cubical morphology were prepared via a facile solvothermal method and their transformation to anatase TiO(2) under different calcination conditions such as pure argon, moist argon and pure hydrogen sulfide (H(2)S) was explored by using XRD/Raman/UV-Vis/SEM/TEM/SAED. The non-metal sulfur doping was successfully fulfilled and the doped TiO(2) microcubes sh...
