Spread codes and cyclic orbit codes are special families of constant dimension subspace codes. These codes have been wellstudied for their error correction capability, transmission rate and decoding methods, but the question of how to encode and retrieve messages has not been investigated. In this work we show how a message set of consecutive integers can be encoded and retrieved for these two ...

‎In this paper we study codes $C_p(overline{{rm HiS}})$ where $p =3,7‎, ‎11$ defined by the 3‎- ‎7‎- ‎and 11-modular representations of the simple sporadic group ${rm HS}$ of Higman and Sims of degree 100‎. ‎With exception of $p=11$ the codes are those defined by the row span of the adjacency matrix of the complement of the Higman-Sims graph over $GF(3)$ and $GF(7).$ We show that these codes ha...

Gray codes have found many applications in engineering and mathematics. In this work we explain how to apply Gray codes to the determination of the control parameter and initial point of a chaotic orbit generated by the Mandelbrot map when the kneading sequence is known. Possible applications to the cryptanalysis of a certain type of cryptosystems based on Baptista’s algorithm are also discussed.

Quantum stabilizer states over Fm can be represented as self-dual additive codes over Fm2 . These codes can be represented as weighted graphs, and orbits of graphs under the generalized local complementation operation correspond to equivalence classes of codes. We have previously used this fact to classify self-dual additive codes over F4. In this paper we classify selfdual additive codes over ...

This paper discusses the results of a benchmark study in which the predictions of numerical codes for neutral beam current drive and heating were compared using the parameters of the reference ITER steady state scenario, as a collaboration work of in the frame of the ITPA-SSO group. The models employed in the benchmarked codes for each physics related to NB heating and current drive, such as th...
