Highly fluorescent g-C3N4 nanosheets were facilely fabricated by exfoliating bulk g-C3N4 under ultrasonic irradiation for 1 h. The atomic force microscopy (AFM) image shows that the resultant g-C3N4 nanosheets are ∼6-14 nm thick, and the suspension is stable in air for several weeks. Remarkably, the obtained nanosheets exhibited strong fluorescence with an extremely high quantum yield (QY) up t...
The present investigation deals with the importance of interaction and position nitro group in adsorptive removal 2-nitrophenol (2-NP), 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) phenol by demineralized kraft lignin activated carbon (DKLAAC). adsorption NPs on DKLAAC was found to follow order 2-NP > 4-NP phenol. In this study, both solubility donor–acceptor complex mechanism played an important role besides poros...
The title compound, C(18)H(21)NO(3), crystallizes in the phenol-imine tautomeric form, with the H atom attached to oxygen rather than on nitro-gen. This H atom is involved in a strong intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond. A C-H⋯π inter-action is also present. The dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 12.23 (7)°.
To improve the utilization efficiency of Au catalyst, triangular Au nanoplates on functional reduced graphene oxide were prepared by a facile method. The products with ultra-low trace amounts of Au afforded high catalytic efficiency for the reduction of 4-nitro phenol. The morphology of the products was controlled by tuning the addition of HAuCl4.
The title compound, C(32)H(20)N(2)O(6), was synthesized by the reaction of 1,1'-binaphthyl-2,2'-diol and 4-nitro-phenol in the presence of K(2)CO(3). The two naphthalene systems make a dihedral angle of 73.70 (5)°. The crystal packing involves mol-ecules connected by C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds into a chain along the c axis.
The nitro phenol compounds are the largest and widely known group of industrial chemicals in use today. These compounds are organic molecules that contain at least one –NO2 group attached to the aromatic ring [1]. Nitrophenols are commonly used in pharmaceuticals, wood preservatives, rubber chemicals, dyes, pigments, explosives and industrial solvents [2]. O-nitrophenol (ONP) and m-nitrophenol ...
Employment of a Pd/C-pyridine combination as a catalyst is a very useful method for the selective removal (hydrogenolysis) of phenolic O-benzyl, N-Cbz and benzyl ester protective groups and for the selective hydrogenation of nitro and olefin functions of phenol derivatives protected with the MPM group. These discriminatory results are apparently attributable to the effect of pyridine. The MPM g...
In the title compound, C(27)H(19)N(3)O(4), the phenol and pyrazole rings are almost coplanar [dihedral angle = 0.95 (12)°] due to an intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond, whereas the phenyl ring is tilted by 40.81 (7)° with respect to the plane of the pyrazole ring. The aromatic ring with a nitro-phen-oxy substituent makes a dihedral angle of 54.10 (7)° with the pyrazole ring.
