this paper presents a rational haar wavelet operational method for solving the inverse laplace transform problemand improves inherent errors from irrational haar wavelet. the approach is thus straightforward, rather simple andsuitable for computer programming. we define that $p$ is the operational matrix for integration of the orthogonalhaar wavelet. simultaneously, simplify the formulaes of li...

| The inverse kinematics of serial manipulators is a central problem in the automatic control of robot manipula-tors. The main interest has been in inverse kinematics of a six revolute (6R) jointed manipulator with arbitrary geometry. It has been recently shown that the joints of a general 6R manipulator can orient themselves in 16 diierent con-gurations (at most), for a given pose of the end{e...

In recent works, we have studied linear predictive models constrained by time-domain filters. In the present study, we will study the one-dimensional case in more detail. Firstly, we obtain root-exchange properties between the roots of an all-pole model and corresponding constraints. Secondly, using the root-exchange property we can construct a novel matrix decomposition A RA = I, where R is a ...

BACKGROUND Parathyroid hormone (PTH) has been associated with anemia only in dialysis patients with severe hyperparathyroidism. Whether an association between PTH and hemoglobin also exists in patients with chronic kidney disease not on dialysis (CKD-patients) is still unclear. In this study we evaluated the association between PTH and hemoglobin in CKD-patients without severe secondary hyperpa...

The inverse scaling and squaring method for evaluating the logarithm of a matrix takes repeated square roots to bring the matrix close to the identity, computes a Padé approximant, and then scales back. We analyze several methods for evaluating the Padé approximant, including Horner’s method (used in some existing codes), suitably customized versions of the Paterson– Stockmeyer method and Van L...

In this note, we derive non trivial sharp bounds related to the weighted harmonic-geometric-arithmetic means inequalities, when two out of the three terms are known. As application, we give an explicit bound for the trace of the inverse of a symmetric positive definite matrix and an inequality related to the coefficients of polynomials with positive roots.

in this paper‎, ‎we study the extremal‎ ‎ranks and inertias of the hermitian matrix expression $$‎ ‎f(x,y)=c_{4}-b_{4}y-(b_{4}y)^{*}-a_{4}xa_{4}^{*},$$ where $c_{4}$ is‎ ‎hermitian‎, ‎$*$ denotes the conjugate transpose‎, ‎$x$ and $y$ satisfy‎ ‎the following consistent system of matrix equations $a_{3}y=c_{3}‎, ‎a_{1}x=c_{1},xb_{1}=d_{1},a_{2}xa_{2}^{*}=c_{2},x=x^{*}.$ as‎ ‎consequences‎, ‎we g...

In this paper we project to develop two methods for computing the principal matrix pth root. Our approach makes use of the notion of primary matrix functions and minimal polynomial. Therefore, compact formulas for the principal matrix pth root are established and significant cases are explored. Mathematics Subject Classification: Primary 15A24, 15A99, 65H10 Secondary 15A18

As part of its catabolic action in bone, parathyroid hormone (PTH) inhibits extracellular matrix mineralization. We previously showed that PTH dose-dependently induces matrix gla protein (MGP) expression in osteoblasts and this induction is at least partially responsible for PTH-mediated inhibition of mineralization. Recently, we identified PKA and ERK/MAPK as the key signaling pathways involve...

There is a lack of large-scale studies on vitamin D status and its relationship to parathyroid hormone (PTH) and bone turnover markers in adults living in Shanghai. The objectives were to determine the prevalence of vitamin D insufficiency in Shanghai and to investigate the relationship of 25(OH)D with parathyroid function and bone turnover markers. This cross-sectional study involved 649 men a...
