Abstract In this paper, we use interval-valued fuzzy numbers to fuzzify the crisp linear programming to three cases. In this paper, we introduce  the notions of   interval-valued and $(in,ivq)$-interval-valued fuzzy ($p$-,$q$- and $a$-) ideals    of   BCI algebras   and investigate some of their properties.   We then derive characterization theorems for these generalized interval-valued fuzzy ideals  and discuss their relationship.

In this paper, we firstly invoke gradual Hausdorff metric to define a new additive fuzzy-valued measure on the ordinary measurable space. Then, from the view of a fuzzy number as a crisp interval of gradual numbers, we show that the new fuzzy-valued measure can be characterized by two gradual number-valued measures. Finally, we investigate some of its properties and structural characterizations.
