We explain how to combine holonomic quantum computation (HQC) with fault-tolerant quantum error correction. This establishes the scalability of HQC, putting it on equal footing with other models of computation, while retaining the inherent robustness the method derives from its geometric nature.

The acute toxicity and effects of diazinon on some haematological parameters of kutum (Rutilus frisii kutum, Kamensky, 1901) weighing 613.33 ± 157.06 g were studied under static water quality conditions at 15 °C ± 2 ºC. These experiments were carried out based on the standard TRC, 1984 method over 4 days, and controlled for the effective water physicochemical factors having pH rangesof 7-8.2,...

Introduction: The underlying mechanism responsible for the cardiovascular response to hemorrhage (HEM) is still unknown; however, several brain areas, such as the cuneiform nucleus (CnF) have shown to be involved. In this study, the cardiovascular effect of the CnF during HEM was evaluated. Methods: The animals were divided into the following groups: 1. Vehicle; 2. HEM; 3. Cobalt chloride (CoC...

We introduce a generalized method of holonomic quantum computation (HQC) based on encoding in subsystems. As an application, we propose a scheme for applying holonomic gates to unencoded qubits by the use of a noisy ancillary qubit. This scheme does not require initialization in a subspace since all dynamical effects factor out as a transformation on the ancilla. We use this approach to show ho...

Saskatchewan's Health Quality Council (HQC) was launched in 2003 with a mandate to not only measure and report on healthcare but also work with a range of partners to improve the province's health system. In late 2007, HQC's board decided it was time for Saskatchewan to reinvent its healthcare system, using the highest-performing systems in the world as its model. And in 2008, HQC launched Acce...

To investigate the anti-angiogenic effect and underlying molecular mechanisms of curcumin on HepG2 cells under hypoxic conditions, insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF-1R) knockout HepG2 cells were constructed using a clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats/Cas9 genome-editing system. Hypoxic conditions were generated using cobalt chloride (CoCl2). An MTT assay was perfo...

Chemiluminescent reactions of metastable Mg*(Pj) atoms with F2, Cl2, Br2, I2, IC1, IBr molecules were studied in a beam-gas experiment. For all homonuclear targets the MgX(A FI X X) emission was observed, but for IC1 and IBr reactants the Mgl(A-X) emission was absent and only MgCl(A-X) or MgBr(A-X) spectra were found. In addition, for the I2, IBr, IC1, Br2 reactions, broad pseudocontinua extend...

Introduction: Based on the evidence, the Pedunculopontine Tegmental nucleus (PPT) is involved in cardiovascular function regulation. In this study, the probable role of PPT on cardiovascular parameters in the hypotension induced by Hemorrhage (HEM) was evaluated.  Methods: The study rats were divided up into 5 groups: 1. Control (Saline); 2. Cobalt(II) chloride (CoCl2); 3. HEM; 4. Saline+HEM; ...
