A one-year-old, castrated male, domestic shorthair was presented with a prolapse of the gland of the third eyelid. Similar to the dog, this cat did not appear to suffer from this eye condition. The prolapse was unilateral on the left eye. The right eye was normal. No accompanying eye diseases were found.
