High Curie temperaturepiezoelectricthin films of xBiInO3-(1-x)PbTiO3 (x = 0.10, 0.15, 0.20, and 0.25) were prepared by pulsed laser deposition. It was found that the tetragonality of films decreased with increasing BI content. The dielectric constant and transverse piezoelectric coefficient (e31,f ) exhibit the highest values of 665 and -13.6 C/m2 at x = 0.20. Rayleigh analyses were performed t...
As the macro behavior of the strength of exchange interaction, state of the art of Curie temperature Tc, which is directly proportional to the exchange integrals, makes sense to the high-frequency and high-reliability microwave devices. Challenge remains as finding a quantitative way to reveal the relationship between the Curie temperature and the exchange integrals for doped barium hexaferrite...
High-accuracy Swendsen and Wang Monte Carlo simulations were performed to study the Curie temperature of ferromagnetic, binary Ising systems on the square lattice. Our results are compared with mean-field like approaches. Based on these former theories, we give a new formula to estimate the Curie temperature of the system. PACS number(s): 75.10H; 75.20E; 75.40M
Fe/Cu superlattices exhibit a structural and magnetic transition with increasing Fe layer thickness, thus increasing the Curie temperature. An enhancement in the superconducting transition temperature is found in proximity coupled Nb/@Fe/Cu# layers as the Fe thickness increases. These results indicate a weakening of the magnetic proximity effect for the material with higher Curie temperature, a...
The temperature of the transition to the polar state in ferroelectric composites, representing spherical ferroelectric inclusions embedded in a dielectric matrix, under a depolarizing field effect is investigated. This temperature is determined both in the absence and presence of screening effects of the depolarizing field of the bound charges of spontaneous polarization at the inclusions surfa...
Emerging for future spintronic/electronic applications, magnetic semiconductors have stimulated intense interest due to their promises for new functionalities and device concepts. So far, the so-called diluted magnetic semiconductors attract many attentions, yet it remains challenging to increase their Curie temperatures above room temperature, particularly those based on III-V semiconductors. ...
