In this paper, we prove common fixed point theorems for minimal commuting mappings satisfying (ψ-φ)-contractive conditions in multiplicative metric spaces. AMS Subject Classification: 47H10, 54H25

We discuss the canonical structure of a class of integrable quantum mappings, i.e. iterative canonical transformations that can be interpreted as a discrete dynamical system. As particular examples we consider quantum map-pings associated with the lattice analogues of the KdV and MKdV equations. These mappings possess a non-ultralocal quantum Yang-Baxter structure leading to the existence of co...

This paper is devoted to prove the S. L. Singh’s common fixed point Theorem for commuting mappings in cone metric spaces. In this framework, we introduce the notions of generalized Kannan contraction, generalized Zamfirescu contraction and generalized Weak contraction for a pair of mappings, proving afterward fixed point results.

In this paper a general fixed point theorem for converse commuting multivalued mappings, which generalize Theorems 2.1 and 2.2 from [3], is proved.

A common coincidence point theorem for R-weakly commuting mappings is obtained. Our result extend several ones existing in literature. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification. 54H25.

Recommended by Thomas Bartsch We give some new definitions of D *-metric spaces and we prove a common fixed point theorem for a class of mappings under the condition of weakly commuting mappings in complete D *-metric spaces. We get some improved versions of several fixed point theorems in complete D *-metric spaces.

This paper is to prove a common fixed point theorem for four self maps which generalizes the result of Brian Fisher [1] by a weaker conditions such as weakly compatible mappings and associated sequence instead of commuting mappings and completeness of a metric space.

In this article, we introduce a new notion of proximal contraction, named as generalized S-proximal contraction and derive a common best proximity point theorem for proximally commuting non-self mappings, thereby yielding the common optimal approximate solution of some fixed point equations when there is no common solution. We furnish illustrative examples to highlight our results. We extend so...

We prove common fixed point theorems for the newly introduced “occasionally Cq-commuting” mappings satisfying generalized non expansive condition using subsequential continuity of the mappings involved. Our results are more general than many recent results existing in the literature. Mathematics Subject Classification: 54H25, 47H10

Groups with commuting inner mappings are of nilpotency class at most two, but there exist loops with commuting inner mappings and of nilpotency class higher than two, called loops of Csörgő type. In order to obtain small loops of Csörgő type, we expand our programme from Explicit constructions of loops with commuting inner mappings, European J. Combin. 29 (2008), 1662–1681, and analyze the foll...
