The high cost of CoFe alloys has prevented their widespread use regardless promising properties such as magnetisation, Curie temperature, soft magnetic materials for temperature applications. Here, it is shown that AlMn can be used to create a CoFeMn0.5Alx alloy, which reduced Co content but comparable alloys, therefore providing more economical alternative pure magnets.
