Tubular apocrine adenoma (TAA) is a very rare sweat gland tumor. TAA and syringocystadenoma papilliferum (SCAP) rarely develop together in a nevus sebaceus (NS). Herein, we report on a 40-year-old Korean woman with TAA associated with SCAP that developed in a NS located on the scalp.

The characteristic clinical and histological features of three cases of malignant eccrine poroma are discussed, in addition to the metastatic disease that had occurred in two cases. These cases were compared with previously reported cases of malignant eccrine poroma that had metastasised, and it is suggested that a strict classification of malignant eccrine sweat gland tumours should be made.

Hidrocystomas, eccrine or apocrine, are rare ductal cystic benign lesions of sweat gland. They are mainly found on the head and neck region. These uncommon cystic lesions are extremely rare in external ear.
