A fast and sensitive electrochemical lipase-based sandwich hybridization assay for detection of attomole levels of DNA has been developed. A combination of magnetic beads, used for pre-concentration and bioseparation of the analyte with a lipase catalyst label allowed detection of DNA with a limit of 20 amol.

Background & Aims of the Study: One of the most important environmental pollutants in the alcohol industry is sugar beet molasses. The wastewater of these industries causes the pollution of soil, surface water, and underground water. Iron oxide magnetic nanoparticles have attracted much consideration due to their unique properties, such as superparamagnetism, surface-to-volume ratio, greater su...

The super-Brownian motion X % in a super-Brownian medium % constructed in DF96a] is known to be persistent (no loss of expected mass in the longtime behaviour) in dimensions one ((DF96a]) and three ((DF96b]). Here we ll the gap in showing that persistence holds also in the critical dimension two. The key to this result is that in any dimension (d 3); given the catalyst, the variance of the proc...

The first bimagnetic ionic liquid based on Fe and TEMPO with cooperative functionalities not only exhibited strong paramagnetic behaviour at room temperature under an applied magnetic field of 5000 Oe but also proved to be an effective catalyst for selective aerobic oxidation of aromatic alcohols under mild and clean conditions.

Fe(3)O(4):PVP/Au nanocomposite synthesized via a two-step procedure was tested as a quasi-homogenous alcohol oxidation catalyst. It was found that the nanocomposite was able to carry out aerobic oxidation of alcohols in water at room temperature. Studies show rapid magnetic recoverability and reusability characteristics.

The Fe3O4@SiO2@APTMS@Glu-His@V complex was prepared with modification of iron oxide magnetic nanoparticles with (3-aminopropyl) trimethoxysilane (APTMS) and glutaraldehyde-L-histidine Schiff base followed by complexation with VOSO4. Characterization of the Fe3O4@SiO2@APTMS@Glu-His@V complex was carried out by means of FTIR, XRD, SEM, EDX, TEM, AAS and VSM techniques. It was found that Fe3O4@SiO...

An atom-efficient, eco-friendly, solvent-free, high yielding, multicomponent green strategy to synthesize triazolo[1,2-a]indazole-triones derivatives by the one-pot condensation of aldehyde, dimedone, and phenyl urazole under microwave Irradiationis presented. Reactions catalyzed by A novel nanomagnetic organic-inorganic hybrid catalyst (Fe@Si-Gu-Prs) was prepared by the chemical anchoring of P...

During this study, we report the green synthesis of  magnetic copper ferrite nanoparticles using tragacanth gum as a reducing and stabilizing agent by the sol-gel method. The green synthesized CuFe2O4 MNPs are characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and scanning electron microscopy...

A series of transition metal complexes with two thiosemicarbazide Schiff bases, 1-(4-dimethylaminobenzyl- idene)thiosemicarbazide (ABTSC) and 1-(2-pyridincarboxyl-idene) thiosemicarbazide (TCTS) were synthesized with Co(II), Ni(II), Zn(II), Cd(II) and Ag(I) salts (chloride and acetate). These complexes were characterized by different methods including proton nuclear magnetic resonance (1HNMR),...
