In this paper, subtractive clustering based fuzzy inference system approach is used for early detection of faults in the function oriented software systems. This approach has been tested with real time defect datasets of NASA software projects named as PC1 and CM1. Both the code based model and joined model (combination of the requirement and code based metrics) of the datasets are used for tra...

To enhance Patient’s safety, we need effective methods for risk management. This work aims to propose an integrated approach to risk management for a hospital system. To improve patient’s safety, we should develop flexible methods where different aspects of risk and type of information are taken into consideration. This paper proposes a fuzzy Bayesian network to model and analyze risk in the op...

Purpose: Today, without having competent and efficient human resources, organizations will not be able to create transformation, development and excellence, achieve a strategic model and achieve the set goals. The way to achieve this is to develop the management and leadership of the organization and create an efficient structure for the human resources organization. Therefore, the main purpose...

Although the model-theoretic semantics of the languages used in the Semantic Web are crisps, the need arise to extend them to represent fuzzy data, in the same way fuzzy logic extend first-orderlogic. We will define a fuzzy counterpart of the RDF Model Theory for RDF (section 2) and RDF Schema (section 3). Last, we show how to implement the extended semantics in inference rules (section 4).

The Mamdani and TSK fuzzy models are fuzzy inference engines which have been most widely applied in real-world problems. Compared to the Mamdani approach, the TSK approach is more convenient when the crisp outputs are required. Common to both approaches, when a given observation does not overlap with any rule antecedent in the rule base (which usually termed as a sparse rule base), no rule can ...
