effects were studied of 200 ppm silver and copper nano-suspensions, with size range from 20 to 80 nm, on the hardness of particleboards produced at an industrial scale at the iran-choob factory, iran. metal nano-suspensions were added to the mat at two levels of 100 and 150 milli-liters/kg dry weight wood particles, and the results were compared with those of the control panels. results showed ...

Organometal halide perovskites are under intense study for use in optoelectronics. Methylammonium and formamidinium lead iodide show impressive performance as photovoltaic materials; a premise that has spurred investigations into light-emitting devices and photodetectors. Herein, the optical and electrical material properties of organometal halide perovskites are reviewed. An overview is given ...

Organolead halide perovskites are becoming intriguing materials applied in optoelectronics. In the present work, organolead iodide perovskite (OIP) nanowires (NWs) have been fabricated by a one step self-assembly method. The controllable NW distributions were implemented by a series of facile techniques: monolayer and small diameter NWs were prepared by precursor concentration tuning; NW patter...

The formation of solid-solutions of iodide, bromide, and chloride provides the means to control the structure, band gap, and stability of hybrid halide perovskite semiconductors for photovoltaic applications. We report a computational investigation of the CH3NH3PbI3/CH3NH3PbBr3 alloy from density functional theory with a thermodynamic analysis performed within the generalized quasi-chemical app...

Fundamental understanding of the charge transport physics of hybrid lead halide perovskite semiconductors is important for advancing their use in high-performance optoelectronics. We use field-effect transistors (FETs) to probe the charge transport mechanism in thin films of methylammonium lead iodide (MAPbI3). We show that through optimization of thin-film microstructure and source-drain conta...

We fabricate mixed halide perovskite films through dual-source vacuum deposition of PbX2 (X = Cl, Br, and I) and methyl ammonium iodide (MAI) precursors with various deposition ratios. Vacuum deposition is an optimal way for film fabrication because it gives a uniform perovskite film which is free from contamination such as metallic phase lead, residual solvent, and moisture. The ionization pot...

A novel organometal halide perovskite (CH3NH3PbI2Br) is synthesized and used as a visible light absorber to sensitize one-dimensional (1D) TiO2 nanowire arrays (NWAs) for all-solid-state hybrid solar cells. It achieved a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 4.87% and an open circuit voltage (Voc) of 0.82 V, both higher than those of its analogue CH3NH3PbI3.
