‎This paper aims at establishing the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a nonstandard variational-hemivariational inequality. The solutions of this inequality are discussed in a subset $K$ of a reflexive Banach space $X$. Firstly, we prove the existence of solutions in the case of bounded closed and convex subsets. Secondly, we also prove the case when $K$ is compact convex subsets. Fina...

In this paper we study the concept of Latin-majorizati-\on. Geometrically this concept is different from other kinds of majorization in some aspects. Since the set of all $x$s Latin-majorized by a fixed $y$ is not convex, but, consists of union of finitely many convex sets. Next, we hint to linear preservers of Latin-majorization on $ mathbb{R}^{n}$ and ${M_{n,m}}$.

the main objective in sampling is to select a sample from a population in order to estimate some unknown population parameter, usually a total or a mean of some interesting variable. a simple way to take a sample of size n is to let all the possible samples have the same probability of being selected. this is called simple random sampling and then all units have the same probability of being ch...

We consider the problem of nonparametric estimation of a convex regression function φ0. We study the risk of the least squares estimator (LSE) under the natural squared error loss. We show that the risk is always bounded from above by n−4/5 (up to logarithmic factors) while being much smaller when φ0 is well-approximable by a piecewise affine convex function with not too many affine pieces (in ...

In this paper, we introduce and study Carlitz polyominoes. particular, show that, as n grows to infinity, asymptotically the number of

‎In this paper, generalized convex contractions on orthogonal metric spaces are stablished in whath  might be called their  definitive versions. Also, we show that there are examples which show that our main theorems are  genuine generalizations of Theorem 3.1 and 3.2 of [M.A. Miandaragh, M. Postolache and S. Rezapour,  {it Approximate fixed points of generalized convex contractions}, Fixed Poi...
