Objective: The prevalence of obesity is rising in both developed and developing countries. Globally, it is estimated that nearly one billion adults are overweight at least 300 million of them are clinically obese. In Afghanistan no published data is available regarding non-communicable diseases including obesity. This paper reports the prevalence and associated risk factors of obesity among adu...

Bending analysis of FGM plates under uniform and sinusoidal loaded result in forth order partial differential equation. In this paper the analytical solution is based on the extended Kantorovich iterative procedure. The differential equations for the iterative procedure is derived using the Galerkin method. The solution was develope based on the classical plate’s theory (CLPT). The reliability ...

A new iterative learning controller is proposed for a general unknown discrete time-varying nonlinear non-affine system represented by NARMAX (Nonlinear Autoregressive Moving Average with eXogenous inputs) model. The proposed controller is composed of an iterative learning neural identifier and an iterative learning controller. Iterative learning control and iterative learning identification ar...

BACKGROUND Despite the fact that long acting family planning methods reduce population growth and improve maternal health, their utilization remains poor. Therefore, this study assessed the prevalence of long acting and permanent family planning method utilization and associated factors among women in reproductive age groups who have decided not to have more children in Gondar city, northwest E...

OBJECTIVE The objective of the study was to examine the associations between prenatal and postpartum contraceptive counseling and postpartum contraceptive use. STUDY DESIGN The Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System 2004-2008 data were analyzed from Missouri, New York state, and New York City (n = 9536). We used multivariable logistic regression to assess the associations between prenata...

Background Undernutrition in early childhood has irreversible and long-lasting implications. Hence, this study was aimed at assessing risk factors of child undernutrition. Methods A community-based cross-sectional study was conducted on 642 households with mothers to children pairs aged 6-59 months selected by a multistage systematic random sampling method. Child anthropometric measurements o...

BACKGROUND Aortic dilatation is associated with the presence of aortic diseases. Current guidelines for assessing the aortic root (AoR) depend on linear measurements acquired by two-dimensional (2D) echocardiography. We considered that real-time three-dimensional echocardiography, which correlates better with AoR volume obtained by computed tomography, is widely unavailable, and therefore, ther...

We introduce a new iterative scheme for nding a common elementof the solutions set of a generalized mixed equilibrium problem and the xedpoints set of an innitely countable family of nonexpansive mappings in a Banachspace setting. Strong convergence theorems of the proposed iterative scheme arealso established by the generalized projection method. Our results generalize thecorresponding results...

In the present work, by applying known Bernstein polynomials and their advantageous properties, we establish an efficient iterative algorithm to approximate the numerical solution of fuzzy Fredholm integral equations of the second kind. The convergence of the proposed method is given and the numerical examples illustrate that the proposed iterative algorithm are ‎valid.‎

The article presents a new scalable iterative method for linear programming called the “apex method”. key feature of this is constructing path close to optimal on surface feasible region from certain starting point exact solution problem. refers minimum length according Euclidean metric. apex based predictor—corrector framework and proceeds in two stages: quest (predictor) target (corrector). s...
