objective(s): studies have confirmed that microgravity, as a mechanical factor, influences both differentiation and function of mesenchymal stem cells. here we investigated the effects of simulated microgravity on neural differentiation of human adipose-derived stem cells (adscs). materials and methods:we have used a fast rotating clinostat (clinorotation) to simulate microgravity condition. re...

introduction:   mesenchymal stem cells have the potential of self-renewal and differentiation into different cell types, including blood cells, heart, nerves and cartilage, and have unlimited power for division. these cells can be obtained from cord, before implantation from fertilized cells and also from various tissues of adults although the differentiation power and the ability to reproduce ...

This article contains results of analyses of angiotensin II receptors expression in human adipose tissue and stem/stromal cells isolated from adipose tissue. We also provide here data regarding the effect of angiotensin II on intracellular calcium mobilization in adipose tissue derived stem/stromal cells (ADSCs). Discussion of the data can be found in (Sysoeva et al., 2017) [1].

OBJECTIVES/HYPOTHESIS Radiation plays a prominent role in advanced stage head and neck tumors. Often, the radiated area includes adjacent nonmalignant mesenchymal tissue, which contains a mixture of cells that has been shown to accelerate wound healing. The purpose of this study is to determine the long-term effect of radiation on the expansion potential of adipose-derived stromal/stem cell (AD...

The identification of multipotent adipose-derived stromal cells (ASC) has raised hope that tissue regeneration approaches established with bone-marrow-derived stromal cells (BMSC) can be reproduced with a cell-type that is far more accessible in large quantities. Recent detailed comparisons, however, revealed subtle functional differences between ASC and BMSC, stressing the concept of a common ...
