OBJECTIVES A dynamic real-time (dRT) architecture has been developed to address limitations in magnetic resonance coronary angiography (MRCA). A prospective clinical trial of 45 patients suspected of coronary artery disease was conducted to determine clinical utility of this integrated real-time system. BACKGROUND Clinical implementation of MRCA is not performed routinely today. However, impr...

A clinical case of a combined application photodynamic and light-oxygen therapy in patient with vulgar acne is described. For therapy, photosensitizer “Sigrinol” mercury-quartz irradiator on tripod ORK-21M radiation source lamp DRT 400 were used. – “Super Seb” diode laser. After the treatment complete remission was achieved.

This paper describes an interactive graphical environment for computational semantics. The system provides a teaching tool, a stand alone extendible grapher, and a library of algorithms together with test suites. The teaching tool allows users to investigate the properties of various semantic formalisms (e.g. Intensional Logic, DRT, and Situation Semantics), and their interaction with syntax.

We discuss a treatment of VP-ellipsis resolution in DRT in general, and particularly cases where the source clause of the elliptical VP contains pre-supposition triggers. We propose to restrain VP-ellipsis resolution by pre-supposition neutralization. We view presupposition as a kind of anaphora, with the ability to accommodate an antecedent if not provided by discourse.

In this paper we describe a dialogue system which makes use of the notion of presuppositions to provide a unifying perspective on the function of a dialogue manager. We extend van der Sandt’s (1992) treatment of presuppositions in DRT to allow presuppositions to support question-answering, the generation of targeted follow-up questions, the identification of dialogue acts and the semantic disam...

This is a preliminary report on a set of techniques for translating the discourse representation structures (DRSes) of Kamp (1981) into semantically equivalent clauses in a slightly extended form of Prolog. Together with discourse representation theory (DRT) itself, these techniques yield a system for translating English into Prolog. A working prototype has been built using Quintus Prolog on a ...

Many cities in developing countries are facing challenges of providing quality public transport facilities to the public. The demand-responsive (DRT) initiatives some have helped transportation alternatives travelers, and filling gap between demand supply. Recently introduced DRT Lahore included mobile app-based Airlift Swvl bus services. This article is aimed at evaluating travelers’ attitudes...

Nowadays, the manufacturing industry is constantly changing. Production systems must operate in a highly dynamic environment where unexpected events could occur and create disruption, making rescheduling inevitable for companies. Rescheduling models are fundamental to robustness of production processes. This paper proposes model address caused by events, aiming achieve zero-defect (ZDM) concept...

Two kinds of nonlinearities coexist in viscoelastic fluid flows, i.e., inertia and elasticity, which can engender different types chaotic states including inertial turbulence (IT), drag-reducing (DRT), elastic turbulence, elasto-inertial (EIT). The state maximum drag reduction (MDR), the ultimate DRT fluids, is recently regarded as EIT. This Letter quantitatively demonstrates role IT EIT turbul...

Dynamic semantics has its roots in the research of anaphoric reference. It is well known that in general anaphoric relations are highly context sensitive and defeasible. However, most standard frameworks of dynamic semantics, such as Discourse Representation Theory (DRT) and Dynamic Predicate Logic, do not deal with problems of interpretation revision 1 (cf. [6]). Furthermore, these frameworks ...
