مقاله حاضر بخشی از بررسی وسیع جنسrhizocarpon ramond ex dc.بر اساس جمع آوری انجام شده در طول سال 2007 از استان خراسان رضوی واقع در شمال شرق ایران می باشد. جزئیات مورفولوژی، آناتومی و ترکیبات گلسنگی برخی نمونه های r. macrosporum در اینجا آمده است. نقشه توزیع گونه نیز ارائه می گردد.
