In this paper, we describe a protocol stack to enable communication between biological nano scale (bio-nano) devices. We identify key design considerations and protocol components and suggest suitable molecular computing mechanisms to create these components. Finally, we introduce a modeling and simulation framework for bio-nano communication networks.

The rapid prototyping (RP) technology has advanced in various fields such as verification of design, and functional test. Recently, researchers have studied bio-materials to fabricate functional bio-RP parts. In this research, a nano composite deposition system (NCDS) was developed to fabricate three-dimensional functional parts for bio-applications. In the hybrid process, the material removal ...

The use of composite materials increases due to its exceptionally better mechanical properties compared to their individual constitutes. The use of Nano materials as one of the constitutes of composite materials adds the advantages specially of high dynamic behavior due to their dimensions of nano scale. The carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) possess excellent mechanica...

It is known that graphene stronger than steel. characterized by extremely high values of the Young's modulus (up to 1 TPa), strength (~125 GPa) and thermal conductivity (~5000 W/(m · K)). Therefore, in this work it used obtain nano-bio composite materials aluminum–graphene using powder metallurgy methods, particular high-energy ball grinding followed vacuum sintering. Sintered were evaluated mo...

ISSN 2250 – 1088 | © 2011 Bonfring Abstract--This paper presents a high-Q MWCNT (Multi Wall Carbon Nano-Tube) network based pulse-shaped on-chip embedded nano-inductor for power electronic circuits. This high-Q inductor is fabricated using a composite of MWCNT (multi Wall Carbon Nano Tube) network and Fe in semiconductor processing environment. A layer of nano composite film (Cu/CoFe2o4) is pat...
