Neutron diffraction study of nanostructured magnetite was performed at room temperature. The actual grain-size was determined from evaluation of X-ray diffraction profiles by the modified Williamson-Hall plot. The atomic structure parameters and the sublattice magnetic moments were determined using the Rietveld refinement of the neutron diffraction spectra. The sublattice magnetization at the o...

The Hall effect is a powerful tool for investigating carrier type and density. For single-band materials, the Hall coefficient is traditionally expressed simply by , where e is the charge of the carrier, and n is the concentration. However, it is well known that in the critical region near a quantum phase transition, as it was demonstrated for cuprates and heavy fermions, the Hall coefficient e...

We investigated the effect of magnetic doping on magnetic and transport properties of Bi2Te3thin films. CrxBi2−xTe3 thin films with x = 0.03, 0.14, and 0.29 were grown epitaxially on mica substrate with low surface roughness (∼0.4 nm). It is found that Cr is an electron acceptor in Bi2Te3 and increases the magnetization of CrxBi2−xTe3. When x = 0.14 and 0.29,ferromagnetism appears in CrxBi2−xTe...

ZnO nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) were prepared by a solegel combustion method from a zinc acetate precursor and acetic acid. The ZnO-NPs were synthesized at calcination temperatures of 650 C and 750 C for 1 h. The synthesized ZnO-NPs were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD) and TEM. The XRD results revealed that the sample product was crystalline with a hexagonal wurtzite phase. Highma...

ABSTRACT. At various calcination temperatures 450, 550 and 650 °C, zinc oxide nanoparticles were produced. Calcinated ZnO has high surface area as the BET was 119.12 m2g–1 average particle radius calculated to be 1.16 nm. The dimension of crystallites straining in nanoparticles' diffraction peaks remained measured. Williamson–Hall (W–H) technique besides size–strain approach stayed used. For ea...

We presented the results of electrical and optical studies of the properties of InxGa1−xN epitaxial layers (0.060 ≤ x ≤ 0.105) grown by metalorganic vapour phase epitaxy. Resistivity and Hall effect measurements of the samples were carried out at room temperature. Optical properties of the samples were characterized by photoluminescence and optical absorption spectroscopy. The comparison betwee...

In this study, a feasible green method for the synthesis of copper oxide nanocrystalline is described by using sour cherry juice which has a significant effect on crystalline size, and morphology. The benefits of the green method, not only nanometer scale are formed but also low-cost method are obtained in a normal atmosphere which it has been used (CH3COO)2Cu.H2O individually as Cu sources. Al...
