We prove versions of results of Foxby and Holm about modules of finite (Gorenstein) injective dimension and finite (Gorenstein) projective dimension with respect to a semidualizing module. We also verify two special cases of a question of Takahashi and White.
Motivated by their impact on homological algebra, the change of rings results have been the subject of several interesting works in Gorenstein homological algebra over Noetherian rings. In this paper, we investigate the change of rings theorems for the Gorenstein dimensions over arbitrary rings. Namely, by the use of the notion of strongly Gorenstein modules, we extend the well-known first, sec...
We obtain some methods to construct a (strongly) proper resolution (resp. coproper coresolution) of one end term in a short exact sequence from that of the other two terms. By using this method, we prove that for a left and right Noetherian ring R, RR satisfies the Auslander condition if and only if so does every flat left R-module, if and only if the injective dimension of the ith term in a mi...

In 1966, Auslander introduced the notion of the G-dimension of a finitely generated module over a Cohen-Macaulay noetherian ring and found the basic properties of these dimensions. His results were valid over a local Cohen-Macaulay ring admitting a dualizing module (also see Auslander and Bridger (Mem. Amer. Math. Soc., vol. 94, 1969)). Enochs and Jenda attempted to dualize the notion of G-dime...
We prove that if a positively-graded ring R is Gorenstein and the associated torsion functor has finite cohomological dimension, then the corresponding noncommutative projective scheme Tails(R) is a Gorenstein category in the sense of [10]. Moreover, under this condition, a (right) recollement relating Gorensteininjective sheaves in Tails(R) and (graded) Gorenstein-injective R-modules is given.
A semi-dualizing module over a commutative noetherian ringA is a finitely generated module C with RHomA(C,C) ≃ A in the derived category D(A). We show how each such module gives rise to three new homological dimensions which we call C–Gorenstein projective, C–Gorenstein injective, and C–Gorenstein flat dimension, and investigate the properties of these dimensions.
Let Λ and Γ be artin algebras and ΛUΓ a faithfully balanced selforthogonal bimodule. In this paper, we first introduce the notion of k-Gorenstein modules with respect to ΛUΓ and then characterize it in terms of the U -resolution dimension of some special injective modules and the property of the functors Ext(Ext(−, U), U) preserving monomorphisms, which develops a classical result of Auslander....
