abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

on this project we try to calculated power of hydrogen on dycarbonil compound in different ways ; the first way is shoster way , for sain power of hydrogen notice the different power between central conforms on it and main conform that’s didn’t have hydrogen joint . or in other way different of energy between open and close form. second way, is average way? this is for way that studied conf...

Gain saturation of an Nd-glass amplifier by 1.06-pmlight pulsesis determined by the lifetimes and degeneraciesof thetwo laser states aswell a s by thermalization rates among the com-ponents of the twomultiplets to which thelaserlevels belong.Reportedaremeasurements showing thatalthoughsmall signalgain was the same foramplified micr...

Linear and nonlinear gain characterization of electrically pumped vertical external cavity surface emitting lasers (EP-VECSELs) is presented with spectrally resolved measurements of the gain and with gain saturation measurements of two EP-VECSEL samples with different field enhancement in the quantum-well gain layers. The spectral bandwidth, small-signal gain and saturation fluence of the devic...

‏‎translation as a comunicative process is always said to be associated with various aspects of meaning loss or gain. subtitling as a mode of translating, due to special discoursal and textual conditions imposed upon it, is believed to be an obvious case of this loss or gain. presenting the spoken sound track of a film in writing and synchronizing the perception of this text by the viewers with...

despite providing robustness, high-gain observers impose a peaking phenomenon, which may cause instability, on the system states. in this paper, an adaptive saturation is proposed to attenuate the undesirable mentioned phenomenon in high-gain observers. a real-valued and differentiable sigmoid function is considered as the saturating element whose parameters (height and slope) are adaptively tu...

Visible to Infrared SASE Amplifier is a free electron laser (FEL) designed to saturate at a radiation wavelength of 800 nm within a 4m long, strong focusing undulator. Large gain is achieved by driving the FEL with 72MeV, high brightness beam of BNL’s accelerator test facility. We present measurements that demonstrate saturation in addition to the frequency spectrum of the FEL radiation. Energy...

A nonlinear L2-gain property that generalizes the conventional (linear) notion of L2-gain for finite dimensional dynamical systems is studied. In particular, an optimizationbased approximation strategy that facilitates computation of gain bounds via a cascade is presented. The cascade in question consists of the dynamical system under test, driven by a nonlinear “energy saturation” operator tha...

seismic retrofit strategies have been developed in the past few decades following the introduction of new seismic provisions and the availability of advanced materials and methods. it can be observed that new approaches to deal with more lateral forces are more innovative and more energy absorbent. in line with this, there is a growing trend toward the use of steel shear walls as a system with ...

Theory of the energy evolution in laser resonators with saturated gain and non-saturated loss is revisited. An explicit analytical expression for the output energy/average power in terms of the gain saturation energy, cavity loss and small signal gain parameters is derived for a ring cavity configuration.
