The catalysts of iron-doped Mn-Ce/TiO2 (Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO2) prepared by sol-gel method were investigated for low temperature selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with NH3. It was found that the NO conversion over Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO2 was obviously improved after iron doping compared with that over Mn-Ce/TiO2. Fe-Mn-Ce/TiO2 with the molar ratio of Fe/Ti = 0.1 exhibited the highest activity. The results...

conclusions according to the results, it can be concluded that the titanium catalyst doped with iron (fe+3-tio2) processes is an appropriate method for reducing atrazine in polluted water resources. results the results demonstrated that the atrazine removal rate increased by decreasing the initial atrazine concentration and the maximum rate of atrazine removal (41.72%) was at ph = 11, atrazine ...

To design a high-performance photocatalytic system with TiO2, it is necessary to reduce the bandgap and enhance the absorption efficiency. The reduction of the bandgap to the visible range was investigated with reference to the surface distortion of anatase TiO2 nanoparticles induced by varying Fe doping concentrations. Fe-doped TiO2 nanoparticles (Fe@TiO2) were synthesized by a hydrothermal me...

The paper details with of the preparation and physicochemical characterisation of nanoand microstructured TiO2 doped with Fe and Co produced by the sol-gel method using titanium alkoxide as the precursor of titania as well as iron or cobalt nitrates as dopant sources. Fe and Co doped TiO2 materials were successfully prepared with two different methods. The effect of the dopant type on the synth...

To what extent the presence of transition metal ions can affect the optical properties of structurally well-defined, metal-doped polyoxotitanium (POT) cages is a key question in respect to how closely these species model technologically important metal-doped TiO2. This also has direct implications to the potential applications of these organically-soluble inorganic cages as photocatalytic redox...

Different tri-doped TiO2 photocatalysts (Fe-N-P/TiO2, Fe-N-S/TiO2, Fe-Pr-N/TiO2, Pr-N-S/TiO2, and P-N-S/TiO2) were successfully prepared tested in the photocatalytic removal of thiacloprid (THI) under UV-A, visible, direct solar light irradiation. The physical-chemical properties catalysts analyzed by different characterization techniques, revealing that dopants are effectively incorporated int...

In this study the optimum conditions for preparing the iron-doped TiO2 nanoparticles were investigated. Samples were synthesized by sol-gel impregnation method. Three effective parameters were optimized using Taguchi method, consisted of: (i) atomic ratios of Fe to Ti; (ii) sintering temperature; (iii) sintering time. The characterization of samples was determined using X-ray diffraction, BET- ...

Background and purpose: Sonocatalytic process as an advanced oxidation process is considered for degradation of pollutants in aqueous solution. The aim of this study was to increase the removal of dye by doping of TiO2 with non-metal element such as nitrogen. Materials and methods: Un-doped and N-doped TiO2 nano-particles with different nitrogen contents were synthesized by a simple sol–gel me...

Photocatalytic degradation of phenol by oxidation, utilizing doped TiO2 (Fe/TiO2) as photocatalyst in the form of immobilized thin films in a jacketed photocatalytic batch reactor was the subject of this research. Fe/TiO2 photocatalyst was successfully synthesized using sol-gel method and coated on the chosen glass substrates using the wet coating method of dip-coating. Titanium isopropoxide wa...

Photocatalytic degradation of organic compounds requires photoexcited holes with strong oxidative power in the valence band (VB) of semiconductors. Although numerous types of doped semiconductors, such as nitrogen-doped TiO2, have been studied as visible-light-sensitive photocatalysts, the quantum yields of these materials were very low because of the limited oxidation power of holes in the nit...
