We discuss the B-meson light-cone wavefunction relevant for QCD factorization approach for exclusive B-meson decays. We derive the operator product expansion for the B-meson light-cone wavefunction, taking into account the local composite operators of dimension less than 6 and calculating the radiative corrections at order αs for the corresponding Wilson coefficients. The result embodies peculi...

We study the exclusive decays of B meson into P-wave charmonium states χcJ(J = 0, 1) within QCD factorization approach and find that for B → χc1K decay, the factorization breaks down due to logarithmic divergences arising from nonfactorizable spectator interactions even at twist-2 order, and the decay rate is too small to accommodate the data, and that for B → χc0K decay, there are infrared div...

Meson is composed of one quark and one antiquark moving under the effect of confinement, oscillating and color potentials. Since quarks are particles with spin , there is a spin-spin interaction potential. Also we have isospins for u and d quarks and we can consider related potentials on isospin-isospin and spin-isospin effects. By comparing the given meson spectrum with the amount calculated...

We review some of the most important topics in the semileptonic decays of B mesons, with emphasis on recent results from CLEO and LEP. We discuss the current data samples, inclusive and exclusive semileptonic decay branching fractions, and form factor measurements in the context of HQET.

Electroweak penguin (EWP) amplitudes are studied model-independently in B meson decays to charmless final states consisting of a vector meson (V ) and a pseudoscalar meson (P ). A set of SU(3) relations is derived between EWP contributions and tree amplitudes, in the approximation of retaining only the dominant EWP operators Q9 and Q10 . Two applications are described for constraining the weak ...
