A curvature self-interaction of the cosmic gas is shown to mimic a cosmological constant or other forms of dark energy, such as a rolling tachyon condensate or a Chaplygin gas. Any given Hubble rate and deceleration parameter can be traced back to the action of an effective curvature force on the gas particles. This force self-consistently reacts back on the cosmological dynamics. The links bet...

Lubricating oil is known as "the blood to maintain the normal operation of machinery", and additives are an indispensable important part lubricating oil. In this paper, Polymer-based Composite Nano-additive (PCNA) suitable for armored vehicle engine was developed, physical chemical properties containing were carried out. The results showed that adding appropriate amount (3 vol.%) could improve ...

Some forensic in situ investigations, such as those needed in transportation (for aviation, maritime, road, or rail accidents) or for parts working under harsh conditions (e.g., pipes or turbines) would benefit from a method/technique that distinguishes ductile from brittle fractures of metals—as material defects are one of the potential causes of incidents. Nowadays, the gold standard in mater...
